Course Title: Information Technology Project Management

Course Overview:
This course will provide the student with a framework for project management, a detailed description of each project management knowledge area, and practical information for applying project management. Students shall learn how to manage project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholders. In addition, other important concepts related to each knowledge area, such as Six Sigma, testing, maturity models, and using software to assist in project quality management. Each knowledge area chapter also includes detailed examples of key project management tools and techniques as applied to information technology projects.

- An interest in the “behind-the-scenes” aspects of technology and how those aspects are integrated into Project Management.
