Course Title: Architecting on Amazon Web Services

Course Overview:
This course will explore the process of architecting optimal IT solutions on Amazon Web Services. We will focus on how to leverage AWS services to make your infrastructure scalable, reliable, and highly available, as well as utilizing managed services to enable greater flexibility and resiliency in your infrastructure. Labs will engage you with core AWS services such as EC2 (Elastic Cloud Compute), Amazon RDS (Relation Database Service) and Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud).
This course, when combined with the AWS Technical Essentials course and self-study, will provide a strong foundation in preparation for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam.
Prerequisites:
- An understanding of basic system operations, server configuration, networking and databases is recommended.
