Course Title: CCNA Security

Course Overview:
This course will teach students about the design, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive security policy using Cisco IOS security features and technologies as examples. Students will also gain knowledge about security controls of Cisco IOS devices as well as a functional introduction to the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA). Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared to perform basic tasks to secure a network using Cisco IOS security features, which are available through web-based GUIs on the Cisco ASA, and the command-line interface (CLI) on Cisco routers and switches.
This course is designed to help students prepare for the CCNA Security IINS 210-260 certification exam.
Prerequisites:
- ICND1 and successful completion of the CCENT (100-105) Certification Exam
- Working knowledge of the Windows OS
- Working knowledge of Cisco IOS networking and concepts
