This course is the starting place for learning about relational databases and SQL. SQL (Structured Query Language) is the standard language for accessing and manipulating data in a relational database such as Oracle. Through lectures, discussions, and hands-on exercises the student will learn not only how to read and change database data but also how to create some basic database objects. Industry best practices and standards are also discussed to give the student a thorough understanding of the SQL database language.
