Course Title: Essentials of Wireshark Network Analysis

Course Overview:
In this course, students will be introduced to the ideal starting point of learning how to differentiate between normal and abnormal network traffic and focus on research, filtering, and comparative analysis using the Wireshark tool. The knowledge gained in this course will be useful for beginner analysts to identify the different types of activity on a network and attribute their source. Students will learn security-related tactics, techniques, and procedures for performing network analysis in order to successfully manage, troubleshoot, and secure a network in the future. Students will also learn how to develop custom filters for non-dissected protocols.
